A/A+ Rides
A Rides – These rides average 18-19 mph + (29-31 kmh) on the flat. Typically, they will not regroup or stop unless necessary. Flat rides tend to be longer than 55 miles. Hilly routes can be challenging with little time spent waiting on the climbs. Riders are expected to be highly experienced in group riding, at pace, in a close formation including descending and cornering at the speed of the group.
A+ Rides – These rides average above 19 mph + (30.5 kmh) on the flat. Typically, they will not regroup or stop unless necessary. Flat rides tend to be longer than 55 miles. Hilly routes can be challenging with little time spent waiting on the climbs. Riders are expected to be highly
experienced in group riding, at pace, in a close formation including descending and cornering at the speed of the group
B/ B+ Rides
B Rides – These rides average between 16-17 mph (25-27 kmh) on the flat. There are usually two B groups on a Sunday, one hilly and one flat. The hilly B would include routes of 40+ miles with up to 3,500ft/4,000ft of climbing, the flat route around 40+ miles. A stop is expected on both the flat and hilly routes with riders waiting and re-grouping at the top of climbs. Riders are expected to ride in pairs within the group.
B+ Rides – These rides average between 17 - 18 mph (27-29 kmh) on the flat. Any stops made are short with brief re-grouping at the top of climbs. Flat routes may not include a stop & will generally be more than 50 miles. Hilly B+ routes are challenging and may include over
4,000ft of climbing. Riders should be experienced cyclists who are confident in riding safely in a close formation, descending and cornering at the speed of the group.
C/C+ Rides
C Rides -These rides average 14-15 mph (23kmh) on the flat. A hilly route may include up to 3,000ft of climbing with stops at the top of every climb. Flat C Rides include a stop and will regroup at junctions. Riders are expected to ride in pairs within the group.

C+ Rides – These rides average 15-16 mph (25kmh) on the flat. A hilly route may include up to 3,000ft of climbing with stops at the top of every climb. Flat C+ Rides include a stop and will re-group at junctions. Riders are expected to ride in pairs within the group.
Social C
Social C – The speed range averages between 12-14 mph (19-22.5kmh) on the flat. The route is flat with the odd climb and usually up to 35 miles in distance. This ride is recommended for cyclists who may be new to riding in a group. Assistance and guidance on group riding is provided.
