Meet Gavin

I joined CMCC in 2018 after reading an article in Cycling Weekly and I am so glad I did.

I have met so many people with a shared passion for cycling who have become good friends. Every ride is a little different, bringing a mix of personalities, experiences, and conversation.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to take part in some fantastic CMCC trips and two adventures stand out above the rest.

The first was cycling coast to coast through the Pyrenees mountain range in France. It was a challenging week but the incredible scenery, sense of achievement, and camaraderie within the group made it worthwhile. It was an unforgettable experience.

Another highlight is joining the annual trip to Majorca to cycle some of the best roads in Europe. A group of us also took part in the annual 312 event & sharing that experience with fellow CMCC members made the experience even more enjoyable.

For me, CMCC is about much more than just cycling. It’s about friendship, shared adventures, supporting each other, and creating unforgettable experiences on two wheels. I’m looking forward to many more rides and club trips in the years to come.
